Starlight Laboratories is a scientific facility that was created from the Starlight Initiative of GLASS. It is now under the jurisdiction of the Alliance of Defense and is first mentioned by Axel in the episode Recovery. The division is notable for saving the life of Agent West's daughter, East, and giving her the ability known as "Burst Step," which briefly increases her speed to superhuman levels at the cost of leaving her briefly-exhausted shortly afterward.
