Red vs. Blue: QvsA is a series of special episodes hosted by Grif and Simmons, where they take frequently asked questions about the popular Halo-based web series, Red vs. Blue, and attempt to answer them. The show was initially teased through an update on the franchise on March 30, 2022.

A brief glimpse of the series appeared on the Rooster Teeth Animation YouTube channel banner on June 30, 2022, which revealed that Grif and Simmons would be featured in the series. The following day on July 1, 2022, it was announced at RTX Austin at the Red vs. Blue: Back to Base-ics panel that the show would be a Q&A series and Grif and Simmons would be the central characters of the show, though series producer Jenn K. Tidwell hinted that other characters would appear as well. The series premiered on August 4, 2022 after it was properly announced the previous month.

• When Eddy Rivas initially pitched the show to Joshua Kazemi, he said that "It's Grif and Simmons doing a Q&A show like Troy and Abed in the Morning."
• This is the first Red vs. Blue series to be shot in Halo Infinite.
  • This show marks the first physical appearance of Simmons' cybernetic enhancements, with his left arm now being shown as completely cybernetic.
  • This show marks the first time Grif will be noticeably heavier than other characters in a game engine.
  • This will be the first time Donut is not shown in his usual pink armor since Season 1, instead wearing rubine, a darker shade.
