- The title of the spinoff series is a reference to the long-running sitcom Family Matters.
- The theme song was sung by Jessica Vasami and Dale Brunson.[2]
- Despite being referred to as Machinima by Rooster Teeth, the series is actually completely animated like the season it was based on.
- While not considered canonical to Zero during production, it is implied to take place after it.
- This series was retroactively deemed the nineteenth season of Red vs. Blue after the Restoration film established that events depicted after The End to be simulated realities, making the events of this series eligible to indeed take place after Zero.
