Lieutenant Lieu was the basic training C.O. for the Red Army at Danger Canyon, where he worked with Agent Florida to determine the soldiers that would be posted at Blood Gulch. He assigned Grif, Simmons, and Hammer on a mission to Timberland to look for any survivors from an attack by the Blue Army.
