The Great Swamp is a swamp located between the Great Burning Plains and Great Freezing Plains.
Role in Plot[]
When Tucker, Caboose, Andy, and the Alien pass through the Great Swamp to get some sleep while on their quest, they suspect someone is following them. They form a trap to capture the pursuer, who's revealed to be Tex. She negotiates and joins the quest team in exchange for obtaining the sword at the journey's end before they leave the area.
Trivia[]
- The events in the swamp resemble scenes from the 2001 film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in Moria. There, Gandalf (Andy) speaks of Gollum (Tex), who is obsessed with the ring (Great Weapon), before an ambush occurs.
- The swamp is represented by the Halo 2 map "Backwash".
- The Great Swamp is tied with Angel On My Shoulder to be the location with the least amount of appearances, as both only appear once.
