<p>Season 17 is really good so far. Fantastic even! </p><p>I've seen six episodes so far and I'd say I've enjoyed roughly 80% of what I've seen.  </p><p>Such a refreshing experience after Season 16.  </p>

<p>Seasons 2 and 3. Most people point to Season 5 for best BGC season (and I do love me some season 5 too), but 2 and 3 were and still are, such a blast for me to watch. Season 4 on the other hand is actually my least liked season period barring 14. Aside from the sword quest, the season was a bore and most of the jokes fell flat to me (particularly the Simmons defecting to blue team plot which dragged for way too long, went no where and only had one good joke out of it.) </p><p>Season 11 was cool too although I feel some plot elements could have been handled better. Also, I actually found the machinima crash site fights quite refreshing and enjoyable to watch actually. It was well choreographed enough to be entertaining despite lacking the flippy kicky stuff that most post-season 7 fights have. </p><p>Season 15 to me was the epitome of "Great idea, underwhelming execution." The season starts great but drops off for a while about when the Reds and Bues go to Temple's underwater base and begins to absoloutely drag. I also liked the idea of the Blues and Reds and other simulation troopers as villans, but again, felt like it was underwhelming in execution. Not to mention how anticlimatic the climax is and how they all go down with little to no fight, including temple himself. The only two who felt like they had a satisfying defeat funnily enough was surge and gene (Loco gets a pass too because heroic sacrifice). I wouldn't go as far as to say 15 was bad, it sure as shit had its great moments, but it was definetly underwhelming and disappointing to me. </p>

<p>Season 4 is actually my favourite season from The Blood Gulch Chronicles. I just love. the story is great, the comedy is great the return to Blood Gulch is great. It's just great. </p><p>I have no bad things to say about Season 11. Just a fantastic season. </p><p>Seaon 15 is also great. I understand what you're saying and get why some people wouldn't like it. I love it. Joe did a fantastic job with it and I was so excited to see his next season. Just, how? How did he go from great with Season 15 to......Season 16? I don't get it? </p>

<p>Yeah, 16 was far worse than anything 15 did. Aside from the B plot with Washington's brain damage (which I'd argue is actually one of the best plotlines in the series period, it was executed so damn well it makes the rest of the season that much more mind-boggling) and the final fight with Donut and Doc, most of the season was trainwreck with some of the weakest jokes in the series. Half of 16's jokes was basically characters randomily reading off a TV tropes page. The plot doesn't go anywhere until the 13th episode, which wouldn't be as painful if the episodes before it were actually funny. There were a few good jokes in the season, but way too few and far between. Also they have Grif repeat the exact same character arc he had in Season 15 for some reason, except executed way worse. </p><p>16 was so bad it actually made me appreciate 15 more when I rewatched it. I never thought 15 was bad and I still don't, I just thought it was weak compared to most of the other seasons, but 16 makes 15 look like shakespeare. </p>

<p>Joe had me excited. I was so ready to love Season 16. It was gonna have-time travel! It was gonna be so awesome! Then it happened. Oh boy did it happen.  </p><p>We do have to be honest though, like any bad anything, it does have its good moments. That cannot be denied. Wash's brain damage: absolutely fantastic. Well no it's horrible but you know what I mean. Some of the time-travel shenanigans: also good. Oh and god damned Doc! Doc had a smidge of character growth! Learning of his deceased brother and that's why he became a Medic! Wanting to save lives but of course Grif not giving a shit pushed him over the edge. For the two seconds that Doc got character growht, it was fantastic.  </p><p>Oh, oh ho, ho no. But the bad? The bad cannot be forgiven so easily, or at all. </p><p>The first and the god damned bigges: Tucker. Mother fucking Tucker! Why Joe? Why did you ruin Tucker like you did? You handled Tucker so much better in Season 15. Yes he'd relaxed from his matured character from The Chorus Trilogy but he still knew when shit needed done. Season 16, which only fucking takes place seconds after Season 15, completley ruins Tucker's character. All his maturing he went through in The Chorus Trilogy is thrown out the fucking window! NO! The god damned airlock!  </p><p>Tucker's Season 15 personality was a perfect blend of him from the earlier seasons and The Chorus Trilogy. Why throw it all away? There is literally not enough time or reason for Tucker to revert back. And what's it all for? To give Tucker another fucking life lesson. That he already got in The Chorus Trilogy. Are you fucking kidding me? </p><p>Right, I need to stop this. Its become a rant. I'll glady complaing more later but for now, this'll do. </p>
