<p>Hey guys since I am new here, here's a decision on about Maine, however though when that sleeveless soldier shot his throat lots of times, well wouldn't he be already killed because if you got slit or shot in the throat you be dead within seconds you wouldn't survive would you

<p>You have to remember that Maine had access to Project Freelancer's medical observatory, so their doctors probably patched him up, like they did York. Maine's throat operation is even seen in the S9 trailer, and although it's non-canon it could be assumed that that's how the operation went.
</p><p>So all these excuses of how Maine survived being shot in the throat and knocked off the highway is because he had access to doctors who could patch him up.

<p>Also he had acess to extremely advanced armor that, you know, contained an armor lock function in case someone got critically injured, so, after the bullet wounds if he was stable enough to move around he could manage, but if he was going to die and the suit couldnt do anything to save him, it would have just locked up and waited for evac

</p><p>Example sarge got shot in the head with a sniper rifle in season 1 by armor lock or donut in 7 or 8 when wash shot him
