<p>He's been consistently shot, stabbed, beaten, and generally injured as long as he's been a part of the series. Why is it law that when he is tossed off a cliff, he's suddenly dead for sure? Did somebody from Rooster Teeth actually come out and say Maine is dead?

<p>The META is dead. He was stabbed through the chest and thrown off of a clif into icy water whilst stuck to the tow cable of a Warthog. Being pulled deep into the water and the icy cold water pouring into his suit from the puncture wounds with the water also entering his body from the same puncture wounds, he drowned. This is confirmed by Councillor Aiden Price.

<p>He said that he HOPED that he was alive, he didn't say that he WAS alive. Plus there's no guaranty that he got that far into the series, and if he didn't then you just spoiled it for him. </p>

<p>i just want to say that the suit the chairman has is not the meta's it's maine's. the meat's suit looks different to his old suit. and the councillor said that he died but due to the councillor nature he could have lied about the fact he his dead, as one final secret weapon. but its most likely he's dead.

- People denouncing the theories and reiterating what the show has already stated...twice (even if one was non-canon, but since when do dumbfuck theorists care about something being canon)
